Quite a Celebration!

NINE ZEROS and a FIVE!

It is a lot of Green!

This commemorative souvenir was in the envelope along with my Shaklee Bonus check for this moth. Now I can visualize billions. We do hear much about billions on the news these days. Only they are with a minus in front of the row of the digits.

By the way, "this representation of wealth is not legal tender. Its sole intent is promotional." 

The message it conveys is this:

"Shaklee Reaches $5 Billion (5,000,000,000) mark in commissions paid to people just like you who are building a Shaklee business."

It is much fun to look at knowing how many good people are behind the effort to reach this impressive mark since the company was established over 50 years ago. I have the highest respect for Dr. Shaklee who started it all with his magnificent ideas and products, and am so glad that I am a part of the "United States of Shaklee" lead by an energetic and caring young CEO (a family man) Roger Barnett. Shaklee does unite people who actively pursue better life for their family and friends.

At the Right Time in the Right Place

Thank you, Summer Fest initiators and all the hardest working associates and volunteers of The Center in Palos Park. Speaking of good luck, I had the “best seat in the house” at the Center’s Third Summer Fest, the Go Green section. The festival’s sign was a perfect backdrop for my own Shaklee safe household cleaners' display, celebrating the 50-th anniversary of Basic H.

World Environment Day and Other Events in June

 
• Tomorrow, Saturday, June 5, is the UN World Environment Day. Chicago Botanic Garden is celebrating it, but, of course, I would prefer you visiting with me at the 22-nd Annual SummerFest at the Center,  where I am a participant of the “Green Fair.” There is always much fun at The Center  for your entire family, rain or shine. The Center is one of my  favorite places in the Chicago land area.  In case if the flash flood will hit today, I have my car packed already. According to the forecasters, an umbrella is a necessary accessory for tomorrow's event. :-)
